Scholarships

Student Scholarships—Various scholarships are given to¬†Senior students have achieved excellence and have the desire to pursue additional training and education in their field. Marion Education Foundation Scholarship

Named Scholarships (Each Scholarship is $500):

Leona Dreyer:

  1. Attended one year at Krueger elementary AND
  2. Will pursue a post-secondary education in teaching or child development. Special attentino will be given to students who served in the Safety Patrol at Krueger Elementary.

Bert Karrer:

  1. Attended one year at Kruger Elementary AND
  2. Will Pursue a post-secondary education in teaching or child development. Special attention will be given to students who served in the Safety Partol at Kruger Elementary School.

Norma Krueger:

  1. Attended one year at Kruger Elementary AND
  2. Will Pursue a post-secondary education in teaching or child development. Special attention will be given to students who served in the Safety Partol at Kruger Elementary School.

Sally Boeck Memorial Scholarship: Awarded to a local student who graduated from high school more than 5 years ago and is enrolling in college. If there are no applicants who meet this criteria, the schoalrship will be given to any deserving student.

Boeck Family: Will pursue a post-secondary education at a university in a field relating to history, art, foreign language, or teaching.

Lorraine Tschirhart: Will pursue a post-secondary education at a community college or university in a field related to teaching or science.

Coach John Anderson: Awarded to a Marion High School graduate who exhibited a high degree of integrity and work ethic during their four years at Marion High School.

Perkins Family Scholarship: Awarded to a Marion High School student who is a daughter or son of an education in the Texas public education system.
